The MS 21 has been specially designed for sowing on finely prepared soils. The ideal weight of the sowing attachments, the wheel configuration (perforated front wheel so as to prepare the seed-bed and smooth rear-wheel for efficient rolling) as well as the very precise depth setting mechanism thanks to the hinged frame – we’ve tried to think of everything to meet the needs of market-gardeners who want simple, reliable and versatile equipment!

Reliable and versatile

Thanks to its modularity, reliability and versatility, the MS 21 is suitable for most marketgardening farms. It comes in 1 to 6- row versions, allowing flat-sowing, ridge-sowing or drill sowing. It’s easily modified and so can be adapted to all farm sizes, medium or small, as well as to their potential development. All this makes the EBRA seeder an investment that follows the market gardener throughout his/her professional life...

Independent seeding units

Each seeding unit is composed of an inclined aluminium distribution plate (see “The Principle” section) which is driven independently by the unit’s wheel. In this way, the units are completely independent from each other : this allows very easy modification of the number of lines and the inter-row spacing and also gives the option of sowing different crops from one row to the next in one pass.

It follows the seed-bed perfectly

Each of the seeding-units of the MS 21 rests on 2 wheels. In this way, the seeder follows the irregularities of the terrain perfectly. A seeding unit can be easily removed or moved by simply unscrewing two bolts, allowing removal or addition of units. This allows, for example the width between rows to be modified, to switch from ridge sowing to drill sowing. A lifting hook is supplied as an optional extra, allowing one or more units to be neutralised without removing it/them. This is another aspect of the versatility of the MS 21.

Easy to use

This is one of the main advantages that EBRA seed-drills are noted for - they’re easy to use :
 change the plate or set the density in just a few minutes – without needing any tools

 complete flexibility of the number of rows, as well as the spacing between rows
